Strong VC-trio invests in PharmaSurgics wound healing product
PharmaSurgics AB has received SEK 17 million through a new share issue. Lead investor Karolinska Development (KD) is accompanied by Östersjöstiftelsen and Midroc New Technology in the investment round. The capital will be used to finish the preclinical development of PharmaSurgics candidate drug (PXL01) for the prevention of post-surgical adhesions. The first study in man is planned for q1 2009.
