PharmaSurgics is developing proprietary peptides derived from the endogenous human glycoprotein lactoferrin. Lactoferrin is a multi-functional protein present in high concentrations in breast milk and in mucosal secretions. It has anti-infective and immunomodulatory properties and plays an essential role in host defense.

PharmaSurgics’ proprietary peptides have several valuable attributes:
